Research Practicals & Master/Bachelor Projects

I am constantly offering individual practicals, Bachelor and Master projects in the field of large-scale combinatorial optimization with applications in computer vision and machine learning.

Prerequisites & Expectations

Apart from the usual formal requirements to start a project, I expect candidates to have:

• Academic Excellence: An excellent mark for my lecture "Optimization for Machine Learning / Applied Combinatorial Optimization" (or a demonstrably similar robust background in integer linear programming and combinatorial optimization).
• Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Python and C++, alongside the ability to efficiently work with and integrate third-party code.
